We explain complex things using poorly drawn monkeys.
We are brand new. We have no office. But we have a clear direction, and we are hiring.
I'm Shay. I started this studio with a friend in 2025. Our goal is simple: explain confusing concepts simply.
So we experimented with a few styles:
artists: Jason Giraldo, Richard Clark, & Bode
created a short:
animator: kevin turpin
and even produced a full video (here's a snippet):
animated by: Lucas, Rhonee, & Sergio
But shortly after, I had surgery and everything stopped. I'm recovered now, we're back, and we're going all in focusing on Primate animation style.
Right now the studio is just three of us:
We have no office, no managers, and no health insurance yet. But what we do have is a clear direction and a work style most studios don’t.
We’re staying small on purpose.
Big teams sacrifice quality and underpay people. I've seen it happen over and over. Besides, our animation style is dumb simple so we don’t need many people anyway.
We are laid back. Work whenever, wherever. All I ask is that you finish your part before the deadlines.
And as our channel grows, your pay grows. It makes no sense why I should keep our team's pay the same when the studio is making more.
In short: animate well and you’ll be paid well. It’s really that simple.
