I don't care where you went to school, what agency you worked for, or if you edited Interstellar. I care about one thing:

Can you make a video hilarious with SFX, zoom in, abrupt cuts, comedic pauses? Examples:

If you can edit like this, you're hired.

the deal

• Pay: It depends on your skill. If your editing requires little to no revisions, then your pay increases. We agree on the rate before you start, paid bi-weekly, and your pay increases as the channel grows.
• Hours: Work whenever, wherever. Just hit your deadlines.
• Communication: 100% Discord. Zoom is for people with receding hairlines.
• Benefits: None (yet). We are three people on the internet.

what a typical gig looks like

Most videos are <5 minutes long. Here is the process:

1. we send you completed animation
2. you do your editing magic
3. post updates, get feedback, and dial in the comedic timing
4. keep tweaking until it hits hard
5. get paid

how to apply

We don’t do interviews, review portfolios, or ask questions. None of that.

Instead you'll do a short editing test. It shows us exactly what you can do, and you get to see if you like editing our style of content.

If you pass, we'll pay you for the test and proceed from there.

That's literally it.

I try to be as upfront as possible. If something feels off, walk away. I'm not here to steal 30 seconds of your editing labor.
